Generate Traffic to Earn More
Anyone that plans to generate traffic should remember that consistency is key. If you fail to be consistent, then you will surely have difficulties pulling in more traffic to your sites. It's a daily process that requires devotion, effort and time. Then again, on the bright side, there are wonderful ways to generate traffic loads of traffic for free. Think about all the discussion forums you encounter on the web. If you take the time to examine a few, you can leave feedback behind with your links. Just be sure you comment in forums that apply to your niche or niches. Naturally you want to generate traffic that relates to your intended audience. When you leave your backlinks, forum regulators can easily be redirected to your blog or web pages.
Massive communities such as Myspace, Facebook and Hi5 are great ways to generate traffic to your websites. On your profile you should leave your link URL. Make sure it's bold and clickable. Copy and paste links don't go over too well. People just don't have the patience to copy them and paste them into their browser. Be active in the web communities. In other words, get your profile out there for everyone to see. The more friends you make, the better. Finally, take total advantage of free Internet directories. You can submit your URLs to these for free and in no time you'll be receiving greater amounts of web traffic. This site has a number of free traffic sources. These are all free and easy methods to generate traffic. Use them all and keep producing new content. The more pages and the more traffic lead to more income.

Free-Money
One of the best free money deals out there is volunteering as a research subject. If you don't mind having strange medicines tested on you, you can make a lot of money for just hanging out in a hospital. Some of these tests are outpatient, but the really well-paying ones have you stay there for more than a week at a time. You can make hundreds or even thousands of dollars, get free room and board, and be paid to just chill out in a hospital bed. Things don't get much sweeter than that!
Filling out surveys is another almost free money opportunity. Like medical experiments, the opportunity depends a lot on where you live. If you happen to be located near a university or in a major city there will be survey taking and focus group opportunities galore. Even if you don't, however, you can probably get in on it over the Internet. Taking online surveys is really easy, and you can make a few bucks on it. Like many free money schemes, there isn't always a lot of cash in it, but you do get something for little or nothing.
Another great free money opportunity is being a secret shopper. A lot of people like this job because for them it doesn't feel like a good job at all. Basically, you get paid a small stipend to go into a store and buy stuff. You pay attention to how well they serve you, what kinds of things are happening in the store, and how well it is run in general. Then you report back to the store's owner or to some central company. I suppose it isn't technically free money – I mean you are being paid to investigate a store – but if you like shopping a lot it will feel like it! It's the sort of job you can do on a day out with your friends wandering around downtown. You get a free meal or some clothes and a little bit of spending cash besides!

Bargain Books
If you're like me, you can't ever have too many books. You're always on the prowl for a new book, even when you're running out of bookshelf space. However, this is a hobby that can become quite expensive. Here are some tips on finding bargain books that are truly bargains, not just poorly written books that no one else wants. Some people shy away from inexpensive books, fearing it's just a waste of money. On the contrary, bargain books can be a bonanza of wonderful reading, at a fraction of the cost of regularly-priced books.
The true book addict typically accumulates exhaustive libraries on their pet subjects. Let's say you love to cook. There are thousands of cooking titles relegated to the bargain book bin which are culinary treasures you may have trouble finding on your neighborhood bookstore shelves.
For example, do you know there are books on medieval cooking? Any gourmet cook worth their salt must have one or two of these in their collections. You'll find out all about medieval table settings, history and lore, in addition to some quite unusual recipes popular at the time. Food preservation was a problem then, so the seasonings used were devised to help preserve foods as well as please the palate. This book is on the bargain book shelf only because there aren't so many readers who are as well educated and curious as you. Snap it up because it may soon be out of print.
You'll find that many bargain books are those covering obscure topics which only the true bibliophile craves. Online, the large book dealers, like amazon.com have thoughtfully categorized these bargains for you to browse any topic to your heart's content. The book collector can discern enough from the information provided to know whether the book is a treasure or a flop.
Other terrific sources of bargain books is the local library sale. Most libraries usually have a book sale once a year to make room for new collections. Often, these older books are sold by the pound! Here, you can freely browse the entire book and find true bargains. Make sure you arrive early for the best selection.
Brick and mortar bookstores always have a selection of bargain books, displayed on tables in separate sections. You can find some great deals here. Sometimes, the cover of the book has been marred by a printing house error. Perhaps that book cover on French baking shows a plate of croissants that appear burned to a crisp due to a color error. The average book buyer will instantly pass, thinking the recipes within can't be any good. You, knowing the ropes of bargain book buying, can pick up that tome of baking heaven for $5, rather than paying the list price of $35.
You book lovers, rejoice! Bargain books can fill out the most esoteric library in no time.

Advanced Google Search
One of the best tricks I ever found for advanced Google searches was to think exclusively. In other words, you want to do an Internet search that will rule out all the pages that you aren't looking for. If, for example, you are looking for a particular friend with a common name, you search for his name along with something only he would know. You can search for a phrase that he might include in his blog, the name of his street, or something else that is unique to him. Don't spend a lot of time looking through each search either. Look for the first page or two and, if you don't find that friends, try another advanced Google search. You can always come back later and digs through pages and pages.
This brings me to one of the most important lessons I've learned about the advanced Google search: if you don't find something in the first page or two, you probably aren't going to find it. There may be several hundred Google pages out there of results, but many of them will be simply around to divert your search and try to get traffic from you. You can usually tell because the sites have lists of keywords that pop up when you do a search engine query for them. They might, for example, have long lists of common names, or links to all sorts of expert websites to make them look like they have information that they don't really have.
Although many people prefer to do an advanced Google search, a lot of folks like to use another tool: meta search engines. Unlike advanced Google searches which only look through one search engine, meta-searches look through several or even dozens. They then compiled the data to get the best search possible.
Here is my web portal. You don't have to do a search.

Sharing the Spirit of Thankfulness with Children

Thanksgiving is a time for being grateful for the abundance we have in our lives, and to encourage the giving spirit towards others. It is the perfect time of the year to take the opportunity to teach children to start thinking about the important things in their life that they are thankful for. A perfect Thanksgiving activity is to encourage the giving spirit in children by collecting and donating canned food to a local food bank. For children to understand why we celebrate Thanksgiving, share the history of this special holiday with them. For young children, I like the story Thanksgiving is… by by Gail Gibbons. Older children can read the story of the First Thanksgiving by Jean Craighead George. The Pilgrims held the first Thanksgiving celebration after their first harvest in 1621. The Pilgrims were so thankful for the abundance of their harvest that they invited their Native American neighbors to join them in their three-day feast.
Thanksgiving in America is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, and Canada celebrates Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October. Thanksgiving celebrations usually include a huge family feast. With the abundance of all this food on the table, encourage the spirit of thankfulness with the children. Another special Thanksgiving activity includes the family taking turns sharing what he or she is thankful for.
A treasured Thanksgiving activity is starting a Thanksgiving Family Journal. During the family gathering on Thanksgiving Day, each family member records what he or she is thankful for in the journal. Add a page that lists the celebration, the names of the guests, the menu, and any other special activities that you did on Thanksgiving Day. Take photos of everyone at the dinner table and add to your journal to create a memory book that you can bring out every year. Each year add the new holiday celebration. This Thanksgiving Family Journal will be treasured for generations to come.

How To Market A Product
We'll begin by assuming that your product or service is of high quality and has intrinsic value to your customer. Your product is ready, but are you? Many a website has suffered an ignominious demise, only because the owner didn't do the proper preparation in marketing. Here we look at five basic, but essential components of how to market a product on the web.
1.Define your market. This may seem obvious, but many people neglect this step. You cannot assume that everyone on the planet will find your product useful. If you use the shotgun approach as a marketing strategy, you're effectively shooting yourself in the foot. We'll look at a service as our example. A service is also a product, in that you are providing a product which saves your customer time and money. A service can be a bit more tricky to manage, but you can apply the methodology to a product as well.
Let's say you want to know how to market a product which takes care of small business accounting needs. Your market is finite, but still huge. Your audience is small to medium-sized businesses, which perhaps have a website, but lack the means to record and store sales data adequate to their needs. There are some costly, big-name packages that do the job. You want to target businesses which can't afford a big-ticket service and are therefore open to yours. Explore every niche business and compile your specific audience.
2.Develop your advertising campaign. You'll learn much about how to market a product on the net when you devise an array of advertising strategies. Visit sites which provide advice on various marketing strategies In the case of our sample product, you might do well to provide feature articles to an e-newsletter focusing on small business issues. Contact the Chamber of Commerce in major metropolitan areas. Always remember to expend your advertising efforts by 'writing to your audience'. Use free advertising venues, as possible and spend advertising dollars judiciously, to reach the greatest number of your potential customers.
3.Make sure you deliver your product or service promptly and securely. Many would-be marketers get shot down here. No matter how much research you've done in developing your advertising strategies with your eye firmly focused on the best methods on how to market a product, if you can't or don't deliver, all your effort is for naught.
4.Keep your communications open. Respond to customer communications as quickly as possible. This builds credibility.
5.Get some links and content going. Have plenty of free content on your site which gives your visitors information they can use. The more links you have pointing to your site, the better. Take a look at this site. It has lots and lots of products and services, plenty of links and great content.
Follow these basic guidelines on how to market a product on the net and you'll achieve success!
How To Write An Ebook
That doesn't mean that there isn't any points to learning how to write an ebook artistically. There is no rule saying that this type of book has to be published online and that type of book has be published in print. More and more authors are publishing electronically, even if they are the type of writers who do fairly conventional prose. Online fiction is a growth area, and you can do it in a pretty conventional manner.
Nonetheless, there are a few strategies to how to write an ebook that will help fiction writers as much as anyone else. You see, writing online gives you access to certain tools that other writers don't have. It is easier to get critiques from your peers, to think about your audience and research it, and to make rapid revisions. The Internet gives you access to an entire worldwide community which can help you learn how to write an ebook and successfully carry out your literary plans. Taking advantage of this available community is what separates the good authors from the rest.
Still, many of the basics of how to write an ebook are unchanged from any other style of writing. No matter what sort of book you are writing, you can expect to sit down for a long time and hammer it out. The biggest part of writing is simply putting in the time and dedication, working on it hour after hour, day after day until it is done. Whether you are writing ebooks, novels, literary nonfiction, or anything else, it requires the same sort of dedication.

Writing Activities
Everyone writes, just about every day of their lives. Whether you're making a store list, writing an email, a memo or a book report, you write. Professional article writers spend all day in writing activities. It's a way of life. However, the average person thinks that writing on an ongoing basis is reserved for professional writers, never giving a thought to writing for pleasure and the therapeutic effects to be derived from writing. Even if you don't generally enjoy writing, there are writing activities you can enjoy. There are many therapeutic benefits and you will improve your writing skills along the way.
Writing is, unquestionably, good self therapy. How many times in a day do you find yourself biting your tongue when someone says or does something that annoys you? Probably plenty! During adolescence, you may have kept a diary, where you poured out your frustrations to dear diary. Maybe your grammar or spelling wasn't perfect, but you certainly felt better after getting your gripes or secret thoughts down on paper.
Much like the adult version of talking to a therapist, you gained the satisfaction of venting. “There, I've said it!” People never outgrow the need to vent. Unfortunately, many adults believe that such writing activities must be put behind them. Child's play? No! The only difference between dear diary and a journal is the moniker. Get yourself a notebook and practice putting your daily thoughts to paper. Don't worry about spelling and grammar and the technical aspects. You'll be amazed at the beneficial effects this simple activity brings to your state of mind.
No matter what your level of writing skills, there's always room for improvement. Better writing skills can make a big difference in your career, grades and how people perceive you. Communication is everything. If you can't communicate well, people are less likely to understand your message. One excellent writing activity that is fun and profits your communication skills is to increase your vocabulary. Use your dictionary to find just three words you don't know. Read the definition. Now use a thesaurus to look up that word and find other words which are similar in meaning. Now, write a sentence using that word. From the thesaurus, choose a few similar words and write a sentence for each of those. You'll discover that these words are usually not interchangeable. Now your vocabulary is larger and you can use these words in your daily life to more precisely convey your meaning.
Let's say you don't particularly enjoy writing. Before you discard the idea, keep in mind that, in dear diary or journal mode, it's for your eyes only, unless you choose to share. Try writing a children's story. Remember how much you enjoyed bedtime stories when you were a youngster? Kid's stories are short and uncomplicated, yet highly entertaining. For ideas, think of your favorite childhood book. Why did you like it so much? One or more of the characters probably fascinated you, made you laugh or otherwise held some appeal that captured your attention and devotion. Dream up some fanciful characters and tell your own story. If you like to draw or are good with computer graphics, make your own illustrations. You may be pleasantly surprised at the results of this writing activity.
Writing short stories or fiction pieces can be very rewarding. Follow the old adage, 'write what you know'. Every one has some expertise in a subject. Pick yours and go for it.
Be aware that such writing activities can be addictive! Once you start, you'll find the pleasure you get is hard to give up! Your writing skills will show up in your more ordinary daily writing, such as emailing a letter to a friend, writing a class paper or even a business report for work. With practice, you'll also develop your writing style.
Whatever writing activity appeals most to you is your best starting point. You may well find yourself looking at free online writing workshops designed to improve your writing. Next thing you know, you might just look forward to your next opportunity to write!

Income Opportunities
You should always find a way to follow your passion. Some can not do this for their day job, but if it is at all possible, this is the way to go. Those that can not do that often find a way to do what they love in their spare time. What they don’t realize is that they can work it out so they can make at least some money doing what they love, and that this can blossom into something that they can do from home, in their own time, and it can pay the bills if they put enough energy and enthusiasm into the project.
Some stay home out of choice, and some just can’t seem to find work. Some are staying home to raise kids, but want something more when the children start kindergarten and they don’t have to focus so much on the kids during the day. Those are usually the ones that start looking for something that they can do from home. Income opportunities sometimes come to them through a hobby, but some come as a bolt of inspiration. Many great things were invented solely on someone sitting at home, thinking about a problem, and then deciding what could be done about it.
If you want to find income opportunities through your passions, you have to think realistically about what those hobbies are. If you love collecting insects, you may not have much to go on, though you could teach somewhere that would have you. However, if you are an artist, there are many things that you can do. Those that draw find income opportunities through freelance illustration jobs. Those that love the written word can find freelance writing jobs both online and offline. If you have another type of hobby that involves the arts, you can try to sell what you make, or you can try to become an instructor somewhere, even from your home.
Income opportunities will come and go. Some thrive and some fail, while others are great and some fizzle out early. The point is not to give up on something that you love. Most can find a way to make it work in one way or another. Even when economic times are tough, and people think the income opportunities are not out there, you should keep looking. Here is a fantastic home income opportunity. Don’t be discouraged if you really want to do something. While I don’t always believe that anything is possible, you won’t know until you have given it your best shot, and then some.

Free Articles
If you are getting into building web sites (like this one) to make money through one of the many advertising programs that you can find online, you know that you have to have content to get people to come to your sites. Some people can write their own, but it does take a while to get enough on the site to draw traffic. There is a formula that a good article follows, and this is not always something someone understands, or can learn how to do. There are some considerations you should think about if you want to go out and find free articles for your web site.
There are some great free articles out there that you can use, but there is one huge drawback to this. If you can find and use the articles free of charge, so can anyone else. If you have the same content on your site as someone else, you could be penalized in the search engines rankings. If that happens, you are not going to come up in a search, and your traffic will dwindle, if you have any at all. This is not always a problem, but it is something you should consider when using free articles.
If you choose to use free content that you can find online, you may have to take some time with it. You don’t want to cut and paste it as it is. Get some free articles that you can use outright and ones that you can modify. That means you have to rewrite at least some of it so that it does not come up as an exact match to something someone else has on their site. Be careful not to mess with the keywords when you do this. Find other ways to reword the articles just enough to pass a Copyscape test. Be choosy too, as badly written articles are not the best choice. Do not, by any means, use any material that is not specifically labeled as free to use for anyone, as you could be infringing on someone’s copyright.
If you find that free articles are not what you need, or that they are not working for you, you can find some services online that offer you content that you can not get anywhere else. There are some that custom write articles for you, and some that have a huge bank of them that allows you to pick and choose what you want to put on your web site. The price is often well worth what you get in return in the way of traffic and sales. Some even use a mix of both paid and free articles with great success. Experiment to see what works best for you.

Create a Blog
There are many reasons that you might want to do this but one of the most prominent driving forces is the ability to make money. Another reason is to backlink to your other websites. Here is an example. There are many people who create a blog in order to keep an online log of their personal thoughts and ideas. However, the drive to make a second income out of blogging is very appealing to many.
The first thing you need to do is create a blog to begin with. There are a few options available when it comes to the process of building your own weblog. The first thing you need to consider is your specific needs as well as the different hosts available that can help you create a blog from scratch.
I love Blogger. This is a great site for the beginning blogger who wants to get her feet wet. This host is accessible and user-friendly. You do have to become acquainted with html to get details like links in your template but overall, Blogger is a great place to start when you create a blog for the first time.
Myspace is another very popular venue. This online organization gives you everything you need to create a blog. Many younger individuals love to use this popular site because it is a great tool for sharing ideas and thoughts on the Internet. Just as the name suggests, Myspace offers you a way to make your own little space on the World Wide Web.
Both Blogger and Myspace are user-friendly and they offer a wonderful sense of community. You can even write a post about anything that confuses you about your weblog and chances are a friendly visitor will leave a comment pointing you in the right direction.
While I love these two sites, I personally chose Wordpress when I decided to create a blog of my own. This site is very manageable and each blog gets a dashboard that shows the site’s stats. Each day, you can see which posts were the most popular and you can see which keywords led people to your site.
When it’s time for you to create a blog of your own, try checking out these resources but don’t forget that there are plenty of other options available as well. There is something out there that is ideal for your blogging needs.

Healthy Body Image
If you watch television and think that most of the women you see are just far too thin, you are not alone. What is even more amazing is that as thin as they look, they are really thinner than they appear. The camera really does add ten pounds. Models tend to be thin too, and that, along with other things, are showing our little girls that they are just not good enough. That is not true - but that is the message that they are getting. You have to work hard to ensure that your daughters, and even you, have a good and healthy body image.
What you may not realize is that a healthy body image starts when children are very young. If you are walking around the house complaining that you feel ‘fat’ and if you are always skimping and not eating meals, they are going to pick up on this in ways that you may not understand. Children think their parents are perfect and beautiful, and if you are showing them that you think you are not good enough, they are going to think they are never good enough. That means they are never going to have a healthy body image even when they are older.
You have to monitor not only what you do, but what your children are seeing on television, in print, and even through their friends. You can’t keep them from seeing most of it, but you can make sure that you talk to them about it. Once of my favorite sayings is that ‘real women have curves’ - but you can use whatever you want. Those that are on TV and in print are not realistic and are not what most feel comfortable with. They should be thinking about being healthy for better healthy body image rather than fitting into a size 0 or 00.
If you find that you are having problem with talking to your kids about healthy image, you can do your best to model it for them. You should talk about healthy eating and exercise if you are not happy with your own image, and if you are working towards a lower weight. If you put too much emphasis on it, they are not going to learn good things about how to find a healthy body image. Keep discussing it to a minimum, don’t talk about ‘dieting,’ and work activity into your lives. That is the best way to go about it.
What is hard about healthy body image is that it can be very hard to counteract the bad messages children are getting no matter how hard you try. What you want to do is to try to show them that confidence is the best way to go, and that no matter what your body size, you are going to be attractive if you feel good about who you are. Healthy body image and healthy self image are two different things, but they can complement each other. Go at it from all angles for the best chance of helping them love themselves no matter what.

B2B (Business to Business) email marketing
B2B (Business to Business) email marketing is a bit different than B2C (Business to Customer) email marketing.
If your email marketing business focuses on products and services that are only of interest to other Internet marketers or other online
businesses, you need to be certain that you are not over-doing your
email marketing letters.
Business oriented people see email marketing as a tool that can be useful but can also become not useful and even intrusive. People who are operating businesses online are extremely busy people.
Each day their email in boxes are full to the point of overflow. They have a monstrous number of requests and demands on their time, effort and energy.
The marketing emails that you send to those who own their own
Internet businesses or who work as purchasing agents for online businesses will not be amused if you send them long epistles extolling the advantages of a product.
They will be even less amused if you send these long emails
everyday or more than once a day. These business people do know how to find the opt-out button and they will find it and use it.
Marketing emails that are sent to online businesses need to be extremely short...no more than 200 words. They need to make the point quickly and they need to be very easy for the recipients to SCAN...they will not be read...they will just be scanned.
Use bullet points. Make your case for their need to buy your product and how it can save them time, effort, energy or make their jobs easier in some way.
How your product can increase sales for the company they represent or increase sales of the products they sell themselves will also be noticed and possibly acted upon. All others will be deleted!

Email marketing
There is an old saying that I don't particularly like but one that is applicable here, “There is more than one way to skin a cat.”
(My cat doesn't find that old saying very amusing.) The idea is, however, that there is always more than one way to do anything and still produce the desired outcome.
Email marketing is one of those things that can be done more that one way and email marketing lists can be used in different ways to achieve the desired results (selling products and services).
1.Prepare your list for an upcoming product launch or event. You can create some anticipation about an upcoming product launch or a teleseminar or webinar that will be happening in the future.
This is known as a “pre-sell or up-sell”. Start by telling your list about the product and begin to tout its advantages.
For example: at the very bottom of an email marketing message you
might put one bold bullet point about the upcoming product or service.
Your email message will still only cover one product or service, as it should, but you can start getting your list prepared for the new product or the new service or an upcoming event.
2.The actual email marketing message for each and every product, service or event that you send should be short, concise, clear and easy to read and act upon. These are the messages that you regularly send to your list.
3.Use your email marketing newsletters to educate your readers about products and services that you provide.
The better informed your customers and potential customers are, the
more likely they are to buy or continue to buy from you.
Information is a commodity that you can provide for free but that will provide you will more future income.

Sell Online
Americans love yard sales, or garage sales. Which ever you prefer to call it. Think along the lines of this basic concept. Now apply the same reasoning to online auctions. You can sell online and possibly get more cash. Probably not with all things, but definitely with some items. I have the perfect example. One sunny Sunday morning a few years back, my wife dragged me out to a yard sale event. I call it an event because it was like an entire neighborhood selling all at once. Low and behold I spotted something that caught my interest. This really never happens for me at yard sales. So you could say this was a rare occasion. The item I found was an older Randall custom knife. This guy has been making fine knives down in Florida for years now. In fact, he is one of the original greats when it comes to knife making. Needless to say, this piece was worth some dough. The guy selling it had it priced at 50 bucks. Hmm, sounded good to me. I bought it and took it home to sell online. I slapped it up on a knife auction and it bid even higher than I had expected. I made almost 400 dollars on that custom knife. I naturally thanked my wife for taking me.
The finer items you have tucked away in a storage room or your garage, you might consider placing them online, as opposed to moving them at a routine yard sale. Chances are you can sell online and receive a higher bid than what someone will offer on your lawn. People who go to yard sales never want to pay anything! Let the web assist you.

Sell Things on Ebay to Make More
You can also earn money as an affiliate by Promoting Ebay and driving traffic to their web site using banners or a search box on your web site. Here is an example.
Whether you knew it or not, you can sell things on Ebay for the price you choose. While this doesn't guarantee a sale, some items bid up quite high simply due to the fact that they're no longer manufactured and difficult to attain. Then again, another great aspect of this grand website is the notion that you can become a seller even if you do not have products of your own. This is actually what so many people love about Ebay. You can purchase a bulk supply of products at a low cost and then proceed to sell these things on Ebay for a higher price. This is a wonderful way to make money. Even if you make a small portion off of each item sold, this can add up to a great deal of money, depending upon how many products you routinely sell on the website.
If you would like to test the Ebay waters a bit, go ahead and sign up for a free Ebay account. You can easily sell things on Ebay that are lying around your home or stacked up in your storage room. In regards to how much you should charge, this is really up to you. Think about the products you're attempting to sell. Are there any other ones listed on the website that are the same or similar? How much are others charging for these goods? This can give you an idea of how much to start your bidding at or even a cut off point. One thing you should always keep in mind when you sell things on Ebay is that if you do not set a specific high price that the product must sell for, then it will sell at whatever the highest bid is, regardless of whether it's what you wanted or not. This is why so many people that choose to sell things on Ebay set a certain price before allowing others to bid.

Selling Skills
For most people, learning selling skills starts with assessing their own personal strengths and weaknesses and finding the perfect approach for them. A lot of salespeople are unaware of their own personal strengths. They are so used to putting on a salesman persona when going into the job that they don't understand that their own personality can be the greatest asset. Being able to relate to the customer demands being able to emotionally engage with him or her. No selling skill in the world can make a for genuine personality. Learn to use yours and you will increase your sales overnight.
That is not to say that there aren't specific selling skills that are independent of personality. One of the most basic ones is learning how to control the turf. You have to be able to make the customer yours. For the duration of your sales pitch, he or she cannot even think about leaving. If possible, you should make it hard for the customer to think about leaving afterward as well. You do this by creating a warm and friendly, yet dominant personality, by controlling the space, and by certain tricks that are specific to the sales pitch you're giving. If you get a customer to hold on to a clipboard, for example, or to listen to your pitch while in the corner of a room away from the door, you will be able to hold his or her attention for longer. Knowing your terrain can help, but the most important thing is to have a wide array of techniques to call on when you need them.
Of course, some of the skills that you need are specific to your area of expertise. I know a little bit more about real estate selling skills because most of my background is in that field, and I can tell that some of them wouldn't translate well to car sales, for example. The most important thing is to always experiment and to learn what helps you to make a sale in the market you're involved in.

Sell On The Internet
Once you have established what you will sell on the Internet, you are on your way to creating the right online store for your collection. Choosing your products isn’t quite as easy as you may think. It helps to be organized in your endeavor in order to attract the buying customers to your Website.
Your products should generally have some common theme, no matter what is it. Do you want to create personalized items or promotional products for other businesses? If you have the know-how and the resources, you can use supplies to sell online that you custom to your client’s specifications.
Consider what kind of online store you want to create and the items that you sell on the Internet will fall into place. You can sell everything and anything ranging from candles to car parts. It’s important to choose products to sell on the Internet that genuinely interest you.
Take a look at my online web site. You will get an idea of all the products and services that you could sell.
If you are crazy about scented candles, then take on this endeavor. As long as you keep a good stock of quality products at a reasonable price you should do pretty well if you have passion for the items. When you sell on the Internet, you do have to choose your items wisely. Following are some quick examples of some great places to find wonderful products to sell.
Wholesale directories can point you in the right direction. You can find some great information at your local library but I would suggest starting online. There are plenty of wholesalers who are willing to give you rock bottom prices for items to sell on the Internet, especially if you buy in bulk.
Trade shows are fantastic resources to consider. These events offer wonderful networking opportunities for anyone who wants to establish himself as a retailer. In order to find a trade show in your region, you will want to find some publications in your specific industry as well as trade associations that deal with the goods you want to sell on the Internet.
After you have established yourself as a successful retailer you can opt to look into larger importers and exporters to find products to sell on the Internet. There’s a lot of stuff out there and your dream of starting your own business is attainable if you have the motivation.

Passive residual income
Most of us are stuck in a 9 to 5 job, paid a salary or compensated by the hour. Like clockwork, whether it’s weekly or bi-monthly, you get your paycheck and that’s that. This is the poster child of a fixed income. Unless you get overtime, a raise or a yearly bonus, your paycheck remains unchanged. Your expenses continue to rise. This picture can get old, fast. How can you change this scenario for the betterment of your lifestyle? There is one excellent remedy. It’s called passive residual income.
Passive residual income is income which is generated by one effort, returning dollars to you, over and over again, without any further time or effort on your part. Hey, that sounds good! How can you accomplish this? A good place to start is at my Home Income Portal.
When you go to work in a factory, for example, you perform certain tasks and are paid according to the number of hours you invested in performing the task. Tomorrow, you return to work and perform the very same tasks. The tasks you performed yesterday have been paid for and are reflected in your paycheck. You won’t be paid again for yesterday’s efforts.
On the other hand, passive residual income puts money in your bank account day after day and month after month, for work you performed only once. Sounds good! How do you get on this train?
Let’s say you’re a dog fancier and have come up with an idea for a dog collar that protects your pooch from every pest in a dog’s life. You patent your idea, manufacture the collar and then sell millions of them. Do you need to re-invent the collar? No. Are you paid for your efforts millions of times? Yes. This is passive residual income.
Maybe you know every folk remedy to cure your dog of ailments the vet calls hopeless. Write a book and let the world know your secrets. You write the booklet once and sell thousands of copies to dog lovers and vets alike. You write the booklet once, but are paid over and over for your knowledge. This is passive residual income. As you sleep, you’ve got orders coming in and money flowing into your bank account. A prospect like this can’t be beat.
The point is that you may have talents and avenues of income which are simply lying fallow. Make a list of things you know which might be of value to the public. You might be surprised at what you have to offer the world and what you might gain in return. Passive residual income is nothing to sneeze at! Get your passive residual income sites now!

Web design
You may have to pay for good web design templates, but they are going to be worth the money. They are also cheap in comparison to paying someone to build your site from scratch and then to do maintenance and updates all of the time. When you really get serious about a web site, you can’t leave it sit as it is for too long. You always want to have something new for your visitors. If you are using simple web design templates, you can do this one your own, and you can do it rather quickly. It is all up to you and how much time you have to put into the project.
You should be on the look out for web design templates that look good, but that are also very user friendly. If you can find one that is WYSIWYG, you have found a great program. Those initials stand for ‘what you see is what you get’ and they are very simple for almost anyone to use. These web design templates are pretty much cut and paste, and should stay looking good no matter what you end up doing to them. If you are not dealing with WYSIWYG, you may mess everything up with a few clicks of the mouse.
You may have to do some searching to find web design templates that work well with your level of experience and that have the look you want. You can find many already done, and you simply have to pay for it. Other times, you may have to have someone build it for you, but again, buying a custom web design template is going to be much cheaper than having someone build your entire site. Take your time to find the right one for you, and then play around to see what it can do. Anyone can have a great looking web site these days, and these templates are the main reason why that is possible.
Here is another way. Get 106 web sites already designed and ready to do business.
